a. Account Information

• When you sign in with Apple ID, we may receive your email address unless you choose to hide it through Apple’s privacy option.

• We do not require any other personal details.

b. User Content

• We store your notes, source materials (e.g., PDFs, images, audio recordings), and related metadata securely in Firebase.

• This data is synced online across your devices. When you delete a note or file, it is permanently removed from our Firebase database and storage.

c. Analytics Data

• We use Firebase Analytics to understand how users interact with the app and improve performance.

• Data collected may include general device information, app usage events, and crash reports.

• No personally identifiable data (such as names or precise location) is collected for analytics.

d. AI Processing

• We use the OpenAI API to generate summaries, flashcards, and quizzes based on your uploaded content.

• The text, images, or audio files you provide for AI processing are securely transmitted to OpenAI’s API and processed only to fulfill your request.

• We do not use your data to train AI models or for any purpose other than generating your requested content.

We process your data to:

• Provide and maintain core features of NOTIO

• Generate AI-based summaries, flashcards, and quizzes

• Sync your data between devices

• Firebase (Google LLC): authentication, database, storage, analytics

• OpenAI (OpenAI, L.L.C.): content generation

We do not display ads.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

• All data is stored securely in Firebase.

• When you delete your account, all your data — including email, user ID, notes, and uploaded source files — is permanently deleted from our systems.

We use modern security measures, including Firebase Authentication and encrypted connections (HTTPS), to protect your data from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.

3. User Accounts

4. User Content and Ownership

• You retain full ownership and copyright of the notes, files, and other content you upload to NOTIO.

• By uploading content, you grant NOTIO a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to process and display your content for the purpose of operating the service.

5. Subscriptions and Payments

• NOTIO offers weekly, monthly, and yearly subscription plans.

• Payment is processed via Apple In-App Purchase and charged to your Apple ID account.

• A free version allows up to three notes for testing the app.

• You can manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store account settings.

• Please note that uninstalling the app or closing your account does not automatically cancel your subscription - you must cancel it manually. Cancellations must be processed via App Store platforms. 6. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

AI-generated notes, flashcards, and quizzes may contain inaccuracies or incomplete information.
NOTIO and its developer are not responsible for errors or losses arising from reliance on AI-generated content.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• NOTIO and its owner shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

• The app is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind, including accuracy, reliability, or fitness for a particular purpose.

8. Termination

You may stop using NOTIO at any time.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms.
